Malotke Designs

In my millinery class I created a hat from scratch and a headpiece. This is the front shot of both of my creations.

For my headpiece I dyed and curled the ostrich feathers, hand glued the red swarovski crystals to the veiling, hand sewed the fabric to the piece, and put it all together.

This shot has the side view of my hat with the detailing of the trim and feathers.

Me wearing the first hat I've ever made in my millinery class's first final. I shaped it on the hat blocks, sewed it together, added the ribbon and feathers, and made a flower out of the extra ribbon to place on top of the feathers.
